Our accepted visa types

Owners of a Language Visa

Applicants for a residence permit to vocational training in Munich under Section 16 (a) of the Residence Act

Third-country applicants for a work visa or EU Blue Card with the prospect of a valid Munich residence permit

Applicants for a residence permit to visa for seeking a vocational training place in Munich under Section 17 (a) of the Residence Act

Close family members of individuals with a valid residence title for Munich, who are already applying for family reunification

Visa for Family
Reunification Joining Foreign Skilled Workers:
For this, the employee already in Munich needs a residence permit, a settlement permit or an EU Blue Card for Germany. An entry visa is not sufficient. Find more information here.

  • Offers are valid only for participants who will reside in Munich.

  • You can apply without a visa if you are working in a bottleneck profession and are motivated to come to Munich.
  • It may have a particular focus on industries that are experiencing talent shortages or are in high demand in Munich. Here are some examples of professions currently experiencing a shortage in Munich:

1. Healthcare, Nursing and Education:
You belong to this group if you are a Childcare professional, Doctor, Nurse, Elderly care professional.

2. Manual Trades and Construction
You belong to this group if you are a Carpenter, Construction worker, Electrician, Plumber, Bricklayer.

3. IT & Engineering
You belong to this group if you are a Civil engineer, Software developer, Network administrator, Data scientist / analyst, IT support specialist, Cybersecurity analyst, Mechanical engineer, Electrical engineer, Aerospace engineer, Chemical engineer.

4. Retail and Wholesale
You belong to this group if you are a Cashier, Store manager, Customer service representative, Inventory manager, Stock clerk, Warehouse manager,  Distribution manager, Supply chain coordinator, Logistics coordinator, Shipping and receiving clerk.

5. Hospitality and Gastronomy
You belong to this group if you are a Hotel manager, Front desk receptionist, concierge, housekeeper, guest relations manager, chef, Sous chef, Line cook, Bartender, Restaurant manager, Waiter/Waitress (Server), Caterer.

6. Transportation of Goods and Passenger
You belong to this group if you are Truck driver, Forklift operator, Delivery driver, Cargo handler, Bus driver, Taxi driver, Train conductor, Subway operator.
