- Exception: For regulated professions (e.g., doctors, nurses), you can work as an assistant until you obtain the necessary license to practice

- A written agreement with your employer, confirming that you will complete the recognition procedure as part of your employmentÂ
- This may be included in your employment contract

- German language skills at level A2 (or higher), according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
Note: Some professions or qualification programs may require a higher level of German

- Your employer must be qualified for a recognition partnership, meaning they have experience providing vocational training or post-qualification development
- The competent authority will verify the employer’s suitability during the visa process – for this, no action is required from you
